Herrin Medical North: Seismic Upgrade to the Medical North wing originally constructed in the late 1970’s. Upgrades included new special concentric braced steel frames, special concrete shear walls, carbon fiber reinforcing over existing masonry walls, and a horizontal diaphragm truss above the roof line.
